During the last quarter of 2025, volunteer groups linked to Scientology social programmes carried out a range of local activities across Europe. The quarter’s roundup included local environmental and civic volunteering, alongside fact-based drug-prevention education and human-rights education based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights delivered through partner programmes.
Activities were reported in multiple European settings, from Italy and France to Czechia, Denmark and Switzerland, with volunteers working with local communities, small businesses and civic organisations. Some initiatives also referenced *The Way to Happiness*, a secular moral code written by L. Ron Hubbard, as a framework for everyday responsibility and respectful conduct.
Ivan Arjona-Pelado, the Church of Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and United for Human Rights programme the United Nations, commented: “Europe’s values are strengthened when citizens choose practical responsibility—keeping public spaces clean, sharing factual prevention tools, and teaching the next generation that rights and dignity apply to everyone. Social cohesion grows through consistent, local action.”
